Responsibilities and Duties
・Oversee all the logistics included shipping arrangement, delivery status, inventory control and document preparation to ensure timely delivery of products.
・Researche and plans the most appropriate route for shipments taking accounts of the nature of items and the requirements set by customers.
・Resolve customer complaints and order discrepancies by investigating problems, collecting pertinent information/documentation, discussing the possible solutions with the Manager, arranging quality inspector when needed, and negotiating solutions with suppliers and/or customers.
・Arrange payment of freight fees and other associated charges or collection of payment on behalf of the clients.
・Work closely with customers and third party vendors to ensure smooth operations to deadlines.
・Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
・Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Managers.
Qualifications
・Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level
・Self-directed, dependable and results oriented
・Must be customer oriented with excellent verbal and written communications skills
・Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel/Access/PowerPoint/Outlook)
・2+ years of experience in the Transportation and Logistics industry especially in Ocean field a plus
・Capable of interacting effectively with all levels of personnel in a fast-paced, just-in-time delivery environment.
