This position will oversee audit and advisory engagements while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality client services. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day engagement activities, supervising audit staff, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to the growth of the practice. The position also involves exposure to broader consulting services beyond traditional audit engagements.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and execute attestation and non-attestation engagements for various clients
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to senior leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and train audit seniors, staff members, and interns
- Coordinate with clients to ensure efficient communication and timely information flow
- Collaborate with internal tax professionals to deliver integrated client services
- Prepare client proposals, presentations, and engagement-related documentation
- Support consulting services including bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, property tax, M&A support, and HR-related projects
- Monitor industry trends and business conditions affecting clients and provide relevant insights
- Identify opportunities for operational and process improvements within engagements
- Participate in business development activities including networking events, seminars, and speaking engagements
- Assist leadership with strategic initiatives such as expansion of service offerings and new business operations
- Maintain and apply audit methodology and continue developing technical accounting, audit, and tax knowledge
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of current and/or recent audit experience within public accounting
- Active CPA license required
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. GAAS
- Minimum of two years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience or willingness to support non-attestation services including bookkeeping, payroll, tax support, M&A, and consulting projects
- Strong organizational, time management, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency required
