A Japanese-affiliated automotive parts manufacturer is seeking a Sales Account Manager to support B2B sales and customer account management. The company serves customers across the automotive and related manufacturing industries. This position will be responsible for developing sales leads, managing relationships with existing and prospective customers, preparing quotations and sales documentation, coordinating delivery-related matters, and supporting departmental sales targets.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop prospective customer lists using business directories, trade shows, industry advertisements, online sources, and other lead-generation channels.
- Manage sales activities with regular and prospective customers, including customer visits, phone communication, product demonstrations, and order solicitation.
- Prepare price quotations, credit terms, sales contracts, delivery estimates, transaction reports, and customer call documentation.
- Coordinate with inside sales representatives and internal departments to maintain accurate account information and up-to-date sales materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts while addressing customer issues related to orders and deliveries.
- Support departmental business plans, annual sales targets, corporate policies, and compliance with environmental, quality, and safety management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- 1–2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of leading people and achieving results.
- Understanding of Kaizen techniques and continuous improvement concepts.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and to present information effectively to managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
