Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product lifecycle strategy, aligning with business goals.
- Track product performance and key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Receive, track, and analyze issues reported by local suppliers.
- Apply solutions obtained from Japan to the local U.S. side, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between global and local teams to facilitate smooth communication and implementation of solutions.
- Ensure all products meet quality and operational standards across regions.
- Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese is preferred.
- Proven experience in design/design work in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in using 3DCAD/PLM software (CATIA, Siemens NX, Solidworks, ARAS, 3DEXPERIENCE, TEAMCENTER, Smarteam, etc.)
- Familiarity with applications such as Windows Client/Server, Microsoft AZURE, Amazon AWS, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Help Desk experience (Level 1 support).
- Understanding of Microsoft Office/ Office 365 major applications.
