Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and improve projects for implementation.
- Assess current systems to secure best practices and balance by complying with federal policies and procedures.
- Administer automated workflow tools, middleware application server, and server visualization technologies (i.e., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of the Cloud migration projects (i.e., AWS, MS Azure).
- Provide technical expertise to support the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks on network storage (i.e., NAS, SAN).
- Manintain and support he Active Directory Group Policies, access privileges, patching and threat/vulnerability management.
- Assist with L1/L2 technical support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience/certifications).
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level is required.
- 5+ years + of relevant experience in the infrastructure/Network administration field.
- 3+ years + of management experience for manager roles.
- Security-minded familiarity with data and the compliance requirements these put on data centers.
- Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
