Responsibilities and Duties
- Generate daily report of sales activities and submit them to management.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in the territory.
- Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems: developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules.
- Train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives.
- Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or other relevant fields required.
- 3+ years experience in sales or customer service at least 5 years in the food-related industry.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.
- Willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time.
- Must be able to lift up 80lb of product.
- *Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of Oracle Net Suite a plus.
