Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify new opportunities, applications, segments, and markets for products and capabilities.
- Facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals and identify and address specific needs.
- Develop and execute strategies and provide accurate order forecasts to Sales Management.
- Attend tradeshows, and conferences and make other visits occasionally.
- Liaise with the internal team to get technical support when required and identify any opportunity to drive sales further.
- Set up relevant activity planners, weekly and daily targets where required, incentives and any other KPIs to achieve set targets.
- Ensure brand consistency and high levels of overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese at the Professional Working level is a must.
- B.A. degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred.
- 2-5 years prior experience as a Sales RepresentativeAccount Manager, or similar experience, preferred.
- In-depth industry understanding of manufacturing, IT, telecommunications, preferred./li>
- Demonstrated business acumen, decision making skills, and identification of new business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact and present to customer and management level.
- Ability to travel as needed (roughly a few times a year).
