Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and oversee the entire shipping process, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Organize and track shipments from pick-up to final delivery.
- Arrange bookings with airlines or shipping lines.
- Issue Air Waybills (AWB) and Bill of Lading (BL) as needed.
- Communicate and provide instructions to customs brokers.
- Perform simple palletizing tasks (2-3 times per month, under 30 minutes per session).
- Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese is required
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems.
- Willingness to perform light warehouse duties occasionally (e.g., palletizing shipments).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with vendors, customers, and team members.
