Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities.
- Analyze data on market conditions, customer preferences, and economic trends to provide actionable insights.
- Interpret and present data in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key trends and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
- Keep abreast of industry regulations, economic conditions, and global events that may impact the market.
- Provide timely updates on relevant industry news and developments.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) regarding market analysis.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Market Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the general manufacturing market/industry in the US.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis/visualization tools. (Excel Analysis Toolpak, Tableau)
- Familiar with data-driven decision making
- Detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
