Responsibilities and Duties
・Provides accurate and proficient data entry and processing of invoices.
Ensures timely payments to avoid late charges and negative impact on time discounts.
・Pays invoices by obtaining payment authorizations, matching transaction documentation and scheduling/preparing disbursements.
・Researches various issues relating to invoice vs. purchase order variances.
・Evaluates completeness and accuracy of invoices submitted for payment, including determination and implementation of corrective action to resolve errors involving invoice coding or application of payment descriptions.
・Organizes and prioritizes work using knowledge of current office technology and business methods, personal computer and mainframe applications.
・Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
・Fluency in Japanese - Native to Professional Working level.
・2+ years of prior accounting/bookkeeping experience
・Physical availability to cross-border commute daily.
・Experience with ERP/ADP and multi-currency/multi-entity data entry preferable.
・Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
・Superior attention to detail, allowing early detection and correction of data entry.
