This position will oversee departmental strategy, project execution, KPI performance, and team development while serving as a key liaison between North American operations and overseas development teams. The role will also contribute to business development, partnership evaluation, and organizational growth.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the Production or Marketing Department, overseeing daily operations, project priorities, team performance, and resource planning across multiple titles.
- Develop and present integrated strategies for product launches, live operations, promotional initiatives, schedules, budgets, and KPI achievement.
- Monitor development progress, operational performance, community sentiment, and market trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with overseas development teams, providing North American market insights and supporting localization, quality assurance, and product-quality improvements.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate team members while supporting recruitment, hiring decisions, onboarding, and professional development.
- Support business development activities, including project sourcing, pitch preparation, partnership evaluation, negotiations, vendor coordination, and industry networking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Seven to ten years of experience in a comparable production, marketing, publishing, or leadership role is preferred.
- Professional-level bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English, including the ability to prepare reports, conduct presentations, and facilitate cross-border discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, KPIs, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review technical, legal, and financial documents and participate in related discussions.
- Proficiency with standard business and project-management applications, including Microsoft Office, communication platforms, and issue-tracking tools.
- Proven experience either managing the full development lifecycle—from initial planning through release—for at least three console game titles, or supporting the release of at least three console game titles with significant involvement in pre- and post-launch marketing and promotional activities, is required.
