Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish new strategically significant customers in dietary supplement, infant formula and pharma industries.
- Measure and prepare monthly sales forecast and assure their achievement.
- Assures follow-ups of the orders with clients and prepare the costing sheet.
- Attend different promotional events such as congress, meetings, tradeshows and other events.
- Collaborate with R&D / HQ in Japan so as to have updated knowledge on research and development, technology, production planning, marketing, and others.
- Maintain good communication with management, office staff members and outside contacts.
- Support customer service team for technical customer complaints, questions, and requests via telephone and e-mail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year College (microbiology is preferable) or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Related experience of more than 5 years of sale and / or Key Account Manager experience with probiotics, preferably in Dietary Supplement and / or OTC market and/or Infant Nutrition market.
- Technical marketing and/or product sales related to selling functional food ingredients.
- Excellent communication skills to work in a team and communicate with many other types of groups to reach a common understanding of business needs.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Identify customer needs and propose solutions in accordance with customers.
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level is a big plus.
