Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese development teams and the production team for live operation titles.
- Monitor product updates and maintenance schedules, ensuring accurate communication across teams.
- Translate written materials between Japanese and English, and communicate fan feedback to development teams.
- Coordinate with PR and Marketing to support promotional campaigns, including asset distribution and IP clearance management.
- Establish and communicate KPI targets; plan and optimize paid user acquisition initiatives to drive growth and retention.
- Review contracts and milestone schedules, coordinating with finance and legal teams on payments and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and timing of in-game messaging, announcements, and marketing communications.
- Support community initiatives, live events, and promotional activities, including potential public-facing appearances.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members when assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in game production, live operations, or a related field required.
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese, including reading, writing, translation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze contracts, financial documents, and technical materials with minimal prior exposure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
- Professional, tactful, and adaptable communication style in cross-cultural environments.
