Responsibilities and Duties
- Uncover, nurture and deeply-develop brand identity and strategy; actas a brand evangelist for external partners, embodying and articulating the brand’s ambition, range and authority.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of existing/emerging consumer and cultural trends and use those to influence evolution.
- Cultivate brand affinity, deep customer engagement, and retention through a membership program that is brand-defining.
- Own all cross-channel / omni-channel efforts for cohesiveness and effectiveness, overseeing integrated strategy - inclusive of media.
- Lead PR and communications to drive brand storytelling forward - for both consumer and business press.
- Work with influencers to distribute contents through mainstream social medias such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
- Determine which external partners to approach; build the case around how partnerships will extend brand relevance and awareness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA holders strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of marketing experience is required; including scalable experience in omni-channel and national scale brands.
- Experience at D2C brands such as CASPER, WARBY PARKER, AWAY, EVERLANE, GLOSSIER, ALL BIRDS, HAUS is strongly preferred.
- Significant experience in food/beverage marketing, expertise in digital and social marketing, emerging platforms, obsessed with data-driven consumer insights, and experience across all marketing touch points with passion for growing a passionate marketing team.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and be successful in a fast-paced, agile, innovative, and collaborative start-up environment.
- Acute attention to detail, proficiency in creating.
- Influential marketer who is also a hands-on leader who can get into the weeds and execute when needed.
