Responsibilities and Duties
- Seek to understand the prospects' needs, pain points, and success measures to effectively highlight the ability of the system to provide solutions for their incentive, recognition, and employee engagement goals.
- Actively network and engage with a diverse range of sources to identify the most apt ‘Target Customer Groups".
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest.
- Close sales by building rapport with potential prospects; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
- Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting, maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
- Build and nurture trust-driven relationships with each client leading to naturally flowing up-selling opportunities and contract renewals.
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on product roadmap, industry changes, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the arts or sciences.
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience with at least 4 years in SAAS Sales, ideally Human Resource Technologies across North America.
- Demonstrable success in closing $100K-$200K year contracts from each client, through deep engagements with multiple stakeholders and C-Suite Leaders.
- Experience with a broad range of sales cycles (three to six to nine months including making outbound and cold calls in addition to driving strategic initiatives.
- Ability to think creatively and enjoy testing new approaches and tactics.
- Experience in working for an early-growth stage Start-Up and in building a ‘Winning Sales Team’.
- Demonstrating success during a stint with one of our peer companies; those focussed on Rewards, Recognition, Incentive & Engagement solutions is a big plus.
