Responsibilities and Duties
- Determine opportunities within the business and propose/implement ideas/processes to tap into those opportunities.
- Work with global function heads (i.e., HR, Systems/IT, etc.) to ensure that the processes, procedures, and systems that you oversee and/or support are in line with those of the other functions and adhere to legal and company policies and regulations.
- Actively take part in identifying new tools, processes, and techniques that will help to boost the innovation efforts of the business.
- Find and develop new partnerships (i.e., SaaS, research firm) in the US/ EU and monitor key aspects such as KPI and implementation process to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Liaise with a global team in Asia to strengthen and enhance both supply and demand functions.
- Assist sales and marketing activities, including the planning of and participation in local, regional, and global industry conferences, the development of press releases, the design and creation of salesand promotional materials, etc.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the growth of the overall businesses.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese with Native evel of English capability is a must.
- 3+ years of experience in BtoB sales preferred, ideally market research, system integration, or similar field.
- Extensive knowledge in the online data collection processes and the various components (e.g. costing, project management, data processing, etc.).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to solve problems and make quick decisions.
- Hands-on self-starter with excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
- Results-driven sales/business development professional with a proven track record.
- Experience in leading or supporting the start-up of new business initiatives.
