Responsibilities and Duties
- Recruits, arrange the interviews with hiring manager and prepare offer letters and New Hire Information.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
- Manage and maintain HR information, accurately enter critical information, i.e., salary, title, reporting manager, changes to benefits, salary, etc.
- Handle employee relations matters including performance improvement plan development, investigations and exit interviews.
- Specialize in both local employment law, company policy, and ensure the accurate and efficient handling of all incidents related to the employee experience.
- Oversee compliance audits, conduct periodic business compliance risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Business to Native Level is a must.
- 3+ years of experience as the Human Resources Generalist/Coordinator at a company with 20+ employees preferred,
- Experience in all areas of HR including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, performance management, training and development, and employment laws.
- Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Effective time management skills by completing assignments within given due date and ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources or other related business field.
