Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop new relationships by staying up to date in the ever-changing and exciting restaurant scene.
- Increase food sales and revenue within a specific geographical region.
- Maintaining existing territory portfolio and account development within current client base.
- Pricing, competitive analysis, negotiations, up to date product knowledge.
- Ensure seasonal produce forecasting is accurate and all data related to clients are kept up to date.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Manager and teammates to support company and regional initiatives.
- Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits, and pick-up requests, preparing sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Business to Native Level is a must.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent experience accepted.
- Possession of and ability to maintain a valid driver’s license to travel throughout assigned territory on a regular basis.
- Strong self-starter with a history of surpassing quotas.
- B2B Sales or Distribution experience Preferred
- Passion for food is a big plus.
