Responsibilities and Duties
- Aggregate large, complex data sets from multiple databases and create insight reports.
- Transforms unstructured or ambiguous data into structured and usable data sets that can be analyzed to extract insights and improve business processes.
- Deliver complex and actionable reports with Dashboards that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
- Build and maintain numerous SQL driven dashboards and data tools for our executive & Accounting team as well as for individual teams across the company
- Collaborates with appropriate parties within the organization to integrate new data sources into our existing data infrastructure.
- Communicate data feedback using efficient visualizations and concise storytelling
- Other related duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese is a big plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science preferred.
- Expert knowledge in analytics, data science, actuarial or equivalent quantitative field.
- Previous experience with SQL and SAP Business Objects BI tools (Microsoft BI, Google Data Studio, Dashboards, etc.) required.
- Ability to program in R and/or Python strongly desired.
