Responsibilities and Duties
・Manage retail grocery and wholesale distributor accounts.
・Accountable for monthly, quarterly and annual case volume, revenue and other KPI’s.
・Increase existing business sales velocity while bringing on new business accounts.
・Build relationships with headquarter, store level and distributor levels.
・Maintain constant and daily contact with accounts.
・Create annual trade planner programs with key retailers and present syndicated data.
・Utilize CRM systems and sales tools for account management and new sales pipelines.
・Coordinate shipping and distribution with Supply Chain/Logistics team.
・Work with cross-functional teams to ensure customers’ needs are met in all areas including A/R, new product development (R&D, compliance, purchasing), production, fulfillment, shipping, and creative.
Qualifications
・Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level is required.
・5+ years of relevant sales experience (specialty food, agriculture, natural and organic CPG preferred)
・Ability to excel in a hands-on, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
・Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office with working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
・Organized and proficient with presentation and planning skills.
・Ability to travel up to 30%
