Responsibilities and Duties
- Research and identify the availability of parts and/or products in response to customer inquiries.
- Negotiate pricing of parts and/or products with suppliers and provide quotations in response to customer inquiries.
- Search inventory records to determine if parts and/or products on hand are in sufficient quantity.
- Assure that the ordered parts and/or products are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meet the quality standards of the company.
- Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.
- Work with freight forwarders regarding warehouse activities in managing shipment schedules, flight delivery schedules, inventory levels, inventory receipts, physical inventory, product labeling and packaging requirements.
- Communicate with the accounting team to assure the timely processing of inventories payable and other inventory accounting related matters.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese at business level is highly must.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience..
- Excellent relationship building and customer service skills both over the phone and in person.
- Great attention to detail with organizational as well as multi-tasking skills.
- Positive attitude, honesty, integrity, reliability, prompt communicator and punctuality.
- Strong analytical skills, good judgement, creativity and organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
