Responsibilities and Duties
・Establish relationships with distributors through planning and participating in distributor events
・Plan and execute training sessions with distributors for the sales team
・Promote sales increase with existing and new customers
・Develop business with new distributors
・Create and utilize promotional brochure, demonstration equipment and product information catalogs
・Organize trade shows and follow up on the orders
・Expand sales skills through study sessions with other sales members
・Adjustment of pricing and rebate system for the major accounts
・Act as a liaison between the manufacturer in Japan and the US side for information sharing
・Work with the manufacturer to develop sales and marketing strategy for North American market
・Study and learn the products and market
・Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
・Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level
・Ability to travel for the company long distance, within the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan.
・Strong sales, marketing and project management skills.
・Demonstrated knowledge of localization issues and cross cultural awareness.
・Excel at managing time efficiently and organing work effectively.
・Strong team player in a multi-cultural environment.
・Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
