Responsibilities and Duties
・Cover all accounts in North America, as far as it is related to all technical issues, as directed by the General Manager of Technical Engineering, teach and train customer management and hourly personnel. ・Exercise discretionary judgment in determining the limits of performance of equipment and refractories within the guidelines of established standard operating procedures.
・Compose report documents upon each visit to a customer, as to the information gathered and any/all action taken or needed.
operational, technical, and if necessary commercial personnel.
・Prepare the presentation material for the promotion of products as well as drawings, upon the customer’s request.
・Perform the physical work associated with any slide gate and any other refractory materials, and be available for any emergency coverage requested by the customers.
・Observe and track flow control items during trials and any other refractory materials and support any sales activities
・Other relevant duties assigned
Qualifications
・High School Diploma or GED required.
・Mechanical Background and/or refractory experience preferred
・Knowledge of the refractory industry and refractory raw materials, production processes, and products.
・Knowledge of the steel industry and steel production processes.
・Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
