Responsibilities and Duties
・Through daily buying you will influence the planning for each season, holiday and marketed event
・Responsible for forecasting customer’s demand and market trends
・Influence pricing of inventory to ensure greatest margin and sales potential
・Nurture strong vendor relationships to ensure that we continue to receive quality products at competitive prices
・Daily follow through with vendors to ensure that all shipments are received on-time and accurately
・Assist in analyzing and reacting to market trends through execution
・Develop a thorough understanding of the needs, wants and expectations of the consumer
・Build on a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace and competitors
・Analyze brand and category successes to optimize performance and improve future decision making
・Negotiate offerings, terms, pricing and other terms of business
・Effectively manage and support direct reports to develop and meet the needs of the business

Qualifications
・Japanese Fluency
・In depth understanding of fashion brands and apparel ls a big plus.
・Strong fashion sense and a keen eye for envisioning and interpreting fashion trends
・Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Able to work independently with limited supervision. Must be able to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
・Knowledgeable of HTML, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PhotoShop is preferable.
・Previous retail customer service experience is a big plus.
