Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer support and business development activities with top global companies.
- Manage communications on daily basis with customers and process requests.
- Host regular meetings with customers and provide updates.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and interview target companies as needed.
- Need to communicate investment or partnership details with investors/LPs in Japan.
- Meet and build strong network within the ecosystem, and conduct deal sourcing.
- Support establishment of new funds.
- Participate in educational seminar and workshop on due diligence, venture capital framework, and industry specific topics.
- Work with portfolio companies on selected projects.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese at native level is a must.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is desirable.
- Previous relevant experience working with a venture capital, startup/tech companies or in investing roles is preferred.
- Have deep passion and understanding of technology.
- Work well in team environments and be sociable.
- Strong written and oral communication skills as well as analytical skills and business acumen.
- Drive to succeed and is willing to take initiative.
