Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee corporate bookkeeping, revenue and expense transactions..
- Complete financial accounting and forecasting, and analyze current finances and develop budgets for the following period/year.
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, and other transactions.
- Track the company's financial and accounting status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
- Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
- Regularly present potential opportunities, scenarios, and possible outcomes to management team.
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
- Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purpose.
- Establish and maintain financial and accounting policies and procedures for the company.
- Understand and adhere to financial and accounting regulations and legislation.e.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese at native level is a must.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics or related fields. Having an advanced degree is a plus.
- Self starter who is highly motivated, with high attention to detail and proven ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills., and project management experience.
- Detail oriented and analytical.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and financial management software.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced multi-team environment.
