Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare renewal and marketing reports, RFP’s, and carrier correspondence.
- Analyze carrier proposals and negotiating a competitive program for new and renewal business.
- Prepare spreadsheets of recommended plan designs and rates in coordination with the Account Management Team, p.
- Review proposals for accuracy and completes benefit and rate comparisons using department format as well as any other appropriate visuals to aid in the client presentation.
- Assist in conducting client open enrollment meetings as requested.
- Participate in market meetings, seminars, and training programs as directed.
- Stay up-to-date on market offerings, products, participation guidelines, and carrier competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level..
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or minimum of two years insurance agency or company experience specializing in employee benefits; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within 1 year.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- A willingness to continually upgrade their knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry.
- Maintain positive working relationships and clear communication with co-workers, clients and insurance carriers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
