Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate hiring processes and outreach to the necessary organizations and sourcing, screen and correspondwith applicants to successfully hire ideal candidates.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
- Manage and maintain HR information i.e., salary, title, reporting manager, changes to benefits, salary, etc accurately.
- Handles employee relations matters including performance improvement plan development, investigations and exit interview.
- Specialize in both local employment law, company policy, and ensure the accurate and efficient handling of all incidents related to the employee experience.
- Assist with office administration and asset management by working cross functionally .
- Provide responses to compliance-related requests from prospective investors and partners.
- Manager insurance enrollments and workers compensation claims.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Human Resources or office administration,preferably in environment of 5 employees 20+.
- Fluency in Japanese is a big plus.
- Ability to surface issues and handle sensitive and confidential information in an efficient and professional manner.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment with an emphasis on Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours with occasions overtime and fluctuates depending on the need of employees.
- Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented.
