Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as a technical expert who works cross-functionally on the project within the area of expertise and deliver end-to-end project management, troubleshooting of issues and managing risks.
- Use Linux operating system engineering, RPM-based Linux distributions and Ansible, OS tuning, and scripting (bash, ksh, nsh, python, perl).
- Prioritize tasks, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Employ automation/scripting experience.

- Work on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment utilizing knowledge of system performance assessment, OpenShift, network and interface communication technologies including but not limited to IBM WebSphere MQ, SFTP, HTTP and ODBC.
- Apply epast xperience with NAS/NFS appliances (NetApp), VMware, VBlock, Rubrik, and networking.
Qualifications
- Business-level verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Wide variety of technical understanding on computing technology such as Server-client architecture, Networking, LDAP, AD, VMware, SAN, NAS, DNS, DHCP, Citrix, Cluster servers, System Monitoring, Job Scheduler, ODBC, SFTP, MQ.
- Experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows servers. Network and interface communication technologies including but not limited to MQ, SFTP, HTTP, and ODBC.
- Back office business analysis and design experience including payment, settlement, cash flow, accounting, and reconciliation is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of financial products including but not limited to Money, CD, CP, Time Deposit, Facility, Security Trade, Security Inventory, Derivative, FX (Spot, Forward, Option, and Swap), Repo, Reverse Repo, and Collateral is a plus.
- The role requires occasional long hours and weekend work. Must be able to provide occasional weekend and late-night support for project implementation.
