This role works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth sales operations and exceptional customer service. The position is designed for someone who will gradually grow into full account-management responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as a primary daily contact for assigned customers, responding to inquiries regarding products, pricing, documentation, and order status.
- Support senior account managers by preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, and maintaining accurate customer information.
- Assist with new-business development through market research, lead identification, preparation of outreach materials, and follow-up on samples, NDAs, and onboarding tasks.
- Coordinate order processing with internal teams and international partners, confirming product availability, lead times, shipment schedules, and documentation accuracy.
- Prepare routine sales reports, meeting materials, and support administrative documentation for internal processes.
- Contribute to trade show preparation and execution, including booth coordination, customer interaction, and follow-up communication.
- Participate in ongoing training on products, regulations, and sales processes, progressing toward independent account management.
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development. Experience in nutraceutical, food ingredients, or B2B manufacturing is a plus (not required).
- Strong communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of sales or marketing concepts; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically for customer visits and trade shows, as needed.
- Japanese–English bilingual ability strongly preferred.
