Responsibilities and Duties
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Promote solutions for key applications throughout the customers’ value chain at tiers and involved converters.
- Drive functional film and adhesives spec-in at assigned key accounts and new customers by working with Product Design Engineers and Materials Engineers.
- Negotiate pricing, business terms, and contracts on behalf of the company.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs Arrange business meetings with prospective clients Regular visits to manufacturing companies to support
spec-in of products throughout the design cycle. - Make regular visits to value chain in Asia or other regions to support the customers design teams and internal team.
- Collaborate closely with relevant Asia team in the region to ensure smooth communications on project information, conduct monthly meeting, and participate global
sales meetings.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business or comparable experience.
- Minimum 3 years sales and account management or business development experience.
- Results- oriented, capable of managing complex projects both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel on the job domestically and internationally approximately 30-50% of working time.
- Intercultural competence with experience working with the supply chain in Asia is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
