Responsibilities and Duties
- Increase Profit and Revenue; manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include: staffing levels, budgets and financial goals.
- Manage marketing and business development for new customers.
- Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.
- Manage entire international logistics including the negotiation with the customers and vendors in overseas.
- Increase trans-pacific business between U.S. and Asia (Japan).
- Manage ad-hook projects as assigned such as Quality Control (ISO 9001/AS9120), Internal Regulation Contro and etc.l
- Resolve any claim or problem both internal and external.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Superior communication and presentation skills; must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons at all levels.
- Ability to adapt and be agile amongst a changing environment and to translate complex problems into solutions.
- Willingness to collaborate with management and peers to advance team and company goals.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated creativity, problem solving skills, taking initiative, judgment, and decision-making skills.
