The position is responsible for driving sales activities in the North American market, focusing on either optical-related products or audio/sensing solutions. This position will act as an individual contributor, managing both new business development and existing client relationships while collaborating closely with headquarters in Japan.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop new business opportunities in North America within relevant industries such as photonics, optical materials, or audio/sensing technologies
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing commercial and technical support
- Present and explain product offerings, including technical features and applications
- Gather customer requirements and market insights, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and support contract processes
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events, and conduct market and competitor analysis
Qualifications
- Business-level proficiency in English (Japanese language skills are a plus)
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably within manufacturing, electronic components, optical products, or audio/sensing-related industries
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage sales activities
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Valid driver’s license for customer visits
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or participation in technical exhibitions is preferred
