Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage sales activities for both existing clients and new accounts within the wholesale food distribution market
- Develop new business opportunities through field sales, networking, and online channels
- Identify customer needs and market trends to propose appropriate products and solutions
- Prepare quotations, support contract negotiations, and manage order processing
- Coordinate delivery schedules, respond to customer inquiries or complaints, and provide after-sales support
- Track sales performance, manage targets, and develop action plans to achieve revenue and profit goals
- Collaborate with internal teams including warehouse and administrative staff to ensure timely delivery, pricing coordination, and accounts receivable management
- Travel as needed to meet clients and support business development activities
Qualifications
- Experience in sales within the food industry preferred, particularly in wholesale or distribution
- Approximately 3+ years of sales experience is preferred, though candidates with strong motivation and potential may also be considered
- Ability to build relationships with customers and maintain long-term partnerships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Professional working proficiency in either Japanese or Chinese
