Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable; Process vendor invoices, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely payments.
- General Ledger Maintenance; Post journal entries for all logistics transactions, including freight charges, warehousing costs, and fuel expenses.
- Perform month-end closing procedures.
- Compliance and Audit Support; Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Conversational to Professional Working level is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business or accounting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and industry terminology is a plus.
