Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain up-to-date billing system and monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Review AR aging to ensure compliance.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts and cash.
- Assist with month-end closing and annual audit.
- Perform other tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level preferable.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles (Accounting I).
- Previous experience in accounts payable or receivable a plus
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
- Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
