Responsibilities and Duties
- Standardize warehouse operations and procedures in accordance with company's system of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Continually improve (Kaizen) practices using PCDA method for Quality Warehouse Management.
- Prepare monthly management reports for senior management and overseas home office.
- Analyze performance statistics and track KPI/KGI’s to discuss recommendations.
- Compose customer requirements and align with our service standards.
- Assist with quotations and operational implementation as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with various offices, vendors, and customers.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Business to Native Level is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Must have between three to five years of previous experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in software including the use of Windows operating system, MS Office, CargoWise – a plus but not mandatory.
- Willing to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies
