The company runs multiple popular Japanese restaurants in the Greater Los Angeles area. You will responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly.
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization and plan and Build for Employee Satisfaction.
- Implement training and development plans.
- Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.
- Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days).
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records.
- Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like Bamboo HR and PeopleSoft.
- Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process.
- Familiarity with full cycle recruiting.
- Good problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Restaurant / Food Industry HR (Recruiting / Employee Satisfaction) Experience is highly welcome.
