Responsibilities and Duties
- Maximize sales potential, as measured by depletion sales within your region.
- Contact with key wholesalers on a monthly basis and maintain a long-term growth strategy.
- Maintain correspondence with buyers.
- Provide a detailed monthly market analysis of sales and a report on your activities in your territory to General Manager.
- Position yourself as a partner to the distributor management and sales team.
- Conduct distributor training meetings in which staff is motivated to meet and exceed goals as well as help them improve skills for and develop confidence in their own presentations.
- Develop professional sales presentations that are dynamic and results-oriented.
Qualifications
- BA in Business or related field, or appropriate experience.
- Fluency in Japanese at the Professional Working level is a must.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the sake, wine, spirits or craft beer industry preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to formulate strategies based on competitive data to meet both short and long-term company objectives.t
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening hours and weekends when needed. Travel is required at least 50% of the time.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to pick up and carry 40lbs.
