Responsibilities and Duties
- Work closely with the Sales team, distributors, and international regional offices to maintain accurate and current data within the database.
- Develop reports, gather statistics, and edit data in the database on accounts, contacts, opportunities, and sales statistics.
- Assist the Sales team with responding to customer requests for information, quote generation, and order status inquiries
- Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing teams to prepare demonstration instruments for workshops, conferences/tradeshows, and demonstrations.
- Act as a customer advocate who will help customers with any follow up needs.
- Nurture accounts to retain existing relationships and to grow share of business.
- Create quotes and sales proposals for company services; collaborate with the team on pricing decisions, supplier selection and timing
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Business to Native Level is a must.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
- Ability to build client relationships quickly to establish and maintain a profitable book of business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work as part of a team
- Business-minded work style with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical flexibility for a business trip in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
- An interest in building a career in the Food industry.
