Responsibilities and Duties
- Study scientific and legal documents and parse out meaningful comparisons associated with products.
- Gather, evaluate, organize, manage, and collate information in a variety of formats.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
- Manage and execute label compliance and post-marketing surveillance.
- Visit customers and explains about products, and attend shows with the sales team and supports the R&D staff as needed.
- Ensure food safety protocols are being conducted on and off-site.
- Seek constant improvement more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’ Degree BS or BA from a four-year university. Preferably in the Sciences, but not required.
- Excellent writing and comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills: word, excel, outlook, etc.
- Research Skills. Strong Project Management experience required as well as cross-functional communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong sense of ownership and accountability, and an attention to detail.
- Related experience of more than one year in quality, regulatory, technical, or a nutritional-scientific role(s).
- PCQI certification and SQF/HACCP training preferred.
