Responsibilities and Duties
- Process full accounting tasks such as accounting payable, account receivable, bank reconciliation, monthly/yearly closing including adjusting journal entries and create financial report.
- Hands on accounting and general ledger activities in support of team performance and tasks in hand.
- Help author procedural documentation and work to improve daily, monthly, and quarterly processes
- Prepares and presents complex analysis and reports and report to HQ management team.
- Streamline processes and procedures while partnering with leadership to drive change.
- Ad hoc activities in support of overall project including administrative duties..
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent and relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 50 or other ERP systems are preferred.
- Must demonstrate organization and prioritization skills to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is required.
- Adept at thinking strategically and simplifying problem sets.
