Responsibilities and Duties
- Seek new opportunities to expand the company's products with both existing customers and new customers, including potential local, specialty and broadline distributors.
- Actively identify new customers and key decision makers.
- Present entire product line for all retail/distribution and wholesale departments, for example; produce, grocery, deli, health foods, etc., to determine customer needs and best fit of product.
- Suggest and implement proactive strategies to achieve sales goals and target accounts within market.
- Prepare and participate in trade shows to introduce new and seasonal products, expand penetration of current products and obtain new accounts through use of show promotions.
- Keep abreast of competitor information and products, customer policy changes, and market trends.
- Effectively manage difficult customer situations.
- Other related duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluency in the following languages is a must. (Japanese/Korean/Chinese)
- Must be proactive with a high sense of urgency.
- Must be results driven and self motivated.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor Degree (preferred in Sales & Marketing) or equivalent work experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - extensive computer skills a plus.
