Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain existing accounts, establish new accounts and approach to potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record of sales performance and experience.
- An effective communicator with strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills..
- Results-oriented with exceptional interpersonal communication and follow-up skills.
- Physical flexibility for a business trip in the US, Canada, and Mexico (apprx a few times a month).
