Responsibilities and Duties
- Proactively work with clients to understand their issues and learn how to find solutions that best meet their business needs.
- Format work product accurately and thoroughly..
- Respond to clients in a timely matter and help out with tax administrative tasks.
- Prepare payroll tax, sales or other local tax and certain personal income tax returns.
- Develop strong relationships with personnel across various divisions within the organization.
- Perform other accounting, auditing and tax duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Business essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferable.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a big plus.
- Knowledge of tax laws for individuals and all types of entities..
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Result-driven, with the ability to function in a culture of accountability.
